I recently met a guy who used to work for WRAL, the CBS affiliate in Raleigh. We were talking TAGS and he said back in the 80's he was working in their promotions department and one of his jobs was to spend hours a day watching TAGS to pull clips for special commercials they would run before week long run of themed episodes. Getting paid to watch TAGS!!
I believe it was a TV station in Raleigh that decided some new dating reality show was a little more risque for their tastes so they decided they would air TAGS instead. They missed a golden opportunity to show select TAGS episodes about love or lost love. To start the new year, let's put on our programmers hat and put together 5 themed episodes.
