Had the privilege Sunday night in Tiffin, Ohio to meet the members of the rock band TOTO before their concert at the historic Ritz Theatre. TOTO's long time lead singer Joseph Williams, has both a Mayberry and Star Wars connection. Joe's father, John Williams, scored the music for all but three of Stephen Spielberg's movies. An Joe's maternal grandmother was Lurene Tuttle, who appeared twice on The Andy Griffith Show, in Season 1 as Annabelle Silby in Opie's Charity and the little old lady in the Season 4 episode The Shoplifters, where Barney stakes out Weaver's Department Store dressed like a mannequin to catch the culprit(s). I gave Joe a framed autograph of his grandmother along with a photo, although the phot is from one of her movie appearances. He appreciated the gesture as I did giving it to him and seeing his response.
