Betty Lynn's character in Cheaper By The Dozen is a sweetie. A shame she
ruined it with a fake Southern accent. Very rare to find an actor that can
actually produce a real sounding Southern accent. Joanna Moore's accent is
real, Betty's is not. Lynn's movie character is a darling but her talk
grates on a true Southerner's spine. However, I do give her credit for
trying. She sweet talks Clifton Webb into dancing with her and makes him
blush with her fake fawning (you know the routine, young lady sweet talks
old man).

Side note - Frances Bavier's accent in the second episode, The Manhunt, is
an abomination making the entire CSA roll over in their graves.

Harriet....In the South, we fry our Chickens after we steal 'em.
