There are photos of the weekend on the Mayberry Days website (http://www.surryarts.org/images/gallery/md03wedding.html) When I was updating the website last year, I pondered the same thought - "whatever happened to..." since they never returned to Mayberry Days (that I know of). A quick internet search at that time turned up a likely sad ending with photos 10+ yrs later of a different couple. Made me wonder if they got a Mountain Divorce? Interesting observation on the 2003 crowd. There are likely twice as many people in town on Mayberry Days Friday but with the Proclamation now at the Blackmon Amphitheatre where there is a lot more room to spread out so the crowd doesn't appear to be as large.
