There is a TV program on Wisconsin Public Television called "Around the Corner". Each week they visit a different town in Wisconsin and report on its special features and attractions. This week the show was about Mayville, a town of about 5000 located in southern Wisconsin. Whilst touring the town and talking to its citizens the narrator talked about how he felt he was in Mayberry. At that point a 1962 Ford Mayberry Replica Squad Car pulled up and a man in a Mayberry deputy uniform stepped out. The gentleman is Jerry Kemmel, who lives in Brownsville, Wisconsin. Jerry and I became acquainted because we both own Mayberry squad cars. It was great to see our beloved Mayberry getting some more recognition here in Wisconsin.
