Thanks Dewey, for mentioning the Mayberry Quilt I made. That quilt was made
for the 25th Mayberry Days and had the shirts for each year of Mayberry Days.
I worked with Tanya Jones with the Surry Arts Council and my Mayberry Family to
obtain the shirts for the quilt. It was an honor, blessing and very humbling to
make the quilt. Betty Blackmon bought the quilt at the live auction and
donated it to the Surry Arts Council and as far as I know, now hangs back stage
in the ladies dressing room and can been seen during the tours.

I made and donated a couple of t-shirt lap quilts to the silent auction in the
past and they were well received. Johnna, I look forward to hopefully meeting
you and seeing the quilt you are making for Mayberry Days and your creativity,
time and generosity will be enjoyed and appreciated by everyone. Our Mayberry
family is the best!
