As I watched "The Sermon for Today" again yesterday, Andy and Barney were talking about going down to the drug store to buy some ice cream (of course, they never quite made it). In small-town America in the 50's and 60's, I would think that just about every type of store would have been closed on Sunday, "the Sabbath" - especially in the South. I grew up in a northern city, and almost nothing was open on Sundays when I was a kid. I seem to recall at least one other TAGS episode where reference was made to going to a store on Sunday. Just wondering.
