This evening I had a TAGS moment. I was attending a fundraising dinner for our
local 4-H and youth foundation and was conversing with some folks sitting near
me. We got to talking about "the way things used to be," and someone mentioned
telephone party lines. We all remembered party lines from our youth. One lady
said, "Nowadays, kids don't even know what party lines are!" So I piped up and
said, "Unless they watch 'The Andy Griffith Show'!" Everybody laughed and
agreed with me.
Honestly, you can introduce TAGS into nearly every conversation! A line I find
myself often repeating when talking with just about anyone is, "That reminds me
of an 'Andy Griffith Show' episode..." And then off I go.
