The Most Interesting Mayberry Character I Have Ever Known
The most interesting Mayberry character I have ever known is Ernest T. Bass. He is a strange little man who lives in the hills outside of Mayberry. He lives all by himself except for a few raccoons, squirrels, and other animals. He can do some very interesting things. He twangs when he talks because he talks through his nose – that way he can talk whilst he eats. He also can come into rooms very quit and he doesn’t spill food when he eats. He enjoys singing and pounding on an empty kerosene can while he serenades Charlene Darling, a neighbor girl who he wants to court. He has a Mother Figure who lives in Mayberry who is a teacher. One really interesting thing about Ernest T. Bass is that he throws rocks. The interesting thing is that he throws them through windows. Sometimes he will even throw a brick. Poor Ernest T. doesn’t have much luck with girls. Even though he can read a little and he knows his boundaries and can do a little ciphering with his feet, the girls in the mountain still consider him to be ignorant. There are many more interesting things I could say about Ernest T.
