Alumni Sighting- Jay Novello I Love Lucy- Dan Goodwin Since I am also a big fan of I Love Lucy, I know exactly the episode you are referring to Dan. It's the one where Ricky is given a band assignment and a chance to summer some place cooler than sweaty Manhattan. I forget where, but they rent their apartment to a man played by Jay. In this episode Jay is recovering from being a witness in a criminal murder case, and needs a quiet place to stay. The assignment gets cancelled at the last minute, but after the summer lease is signed for "Jay". Jay also refuses to find another place. So Lucy and Ethel pretend to have a fight over Fred. And they stage a fake shooting in front of "Jay". Jay leaves screaming something like "I didn't see anything !" Then Ricky comes in and announces he got another band assignment for the summer. Cest la vie.... Patty In CA but not of it. _______________________________________________ WBMUTBB mailing list [email protected] http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/
