We are a week away from Mayberry Days! A few things to share: - Colonel Tim's Talent Time (evening) and Karen Knotts "Tied Up In Knotts" shows only has a few tickets left. You can call the Surry Arts Council at 336.786.7889 and order them, along with any other show. All other event tickets are still available online or at the Playhouse.
- Peggy McCay is regretfully unable to attend this year. She was recently injured on the set of "Days of Our Lives" recently - no details on what happened, but please keep a good thought for her. - WBMUTBB annual meet up on Friday after the trivia. Come out and put a face to a name and meet your Mayberry neighbor. - Digest regular Dewey Lamb has created another batch of fabulous items for the WBMUTBB Silent Auction, so stop by on Saturday after the parade and meet the man and see all his great items. He's a Prince. A real Prince. - The 25th Anniversary Mayberry Days Quilt (created by WBMUTBB member Pat Coleman) will be on display at various events and then be featured in a live auction on Saturday at 12:30p on stage in the Andy Griffith Playhouse. No charge to attend. - Everyone complains about the weather but nobody ever does anything about it... I don't want to jinx anything, but the long range forecast says the weather will be perfect during the festival this year. If you're within a day's drive of Mount Airy, you should make plans to come up for at least one day of fun. - All the latest is available at http://www.mayberrydays.com It's BIG!
