I had a most enjoyable parade today as my twelve year old niece was our Honorary Mayberry Princess. She wore a long white dress with a princess banner, a rhinestone crown, and she carried a scepter with rhinestones and she walked along side me the entire parade. What fun.
I did have to do a little educating as while we were awaiting the parade to begin, two women in a truck called us over. They were goggling "Mayberry Wisconsin" as they had never heard of the town before and they wanted to know where in Wisconsin it was located. On the way home my wife was driving the squad car on the freeway when a police car pulled up along side of us.
