Back in The Day, people dressed up for everything. You go to the state
fair, dress up. Go out to eat, dress up. Go to church, dress up. I worked
for a business machine company back in the early/mid 60s and wore a suit,
white shirt and tie every day!! Grease spots all over my white shirt but that
is what you wore! My father was a rural mail carrier and for many years
wore a suit to carry mail, then graduated to more of a work style clothes.
Times have changed....for the worse, in my opinion. Gone are the days when
folks took pride in the way their clothes looked. Look at some of the country
singers....their jeans look like they lost in a battle with a bobcat!!
Otis was a credit to his profession....it was after work hours he became a
debit.
I knew Otis Campbell. Otis was a friend of mine. And Barney, You ain't no
Otis Campbell.!!
