Our neighborhood listserv is having an interesting discussion about some new postal regulations for new home construction in old neighborhoods and where the mailbox can be located. One person has made a Mayberry reference (it wasn't me), but I was wondering how many mail/Post Office/mailbox references there were on the show? A few that come to mind...
- Barney showing Melissa where the PO was (down the Oregon Trail) - Talbot not giving the mail to Barney because he had to put it through the slot in the door - George Bricker handing the mail to Andy and shaking Mr. Wheeler's hand - Wanted poster discussions - Barney complaining about the new stamp machine There are lots of letter references - Lucky Letter, cards from Ubaucher (sp?) brothers, Christmas card from Hilda Mae - but I was thinking more in line with mail delivery, receptacles and the Post Office. Thanks for the input. Jeff _______________________________________________ WBMUTBB mailing list [email protected] http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/
