Those of us in the south know that sweet tea is the "table wine of the south." Yet I don't recall the Taylors, or anyone else in Mayberry ever drinking or mentioning sweet tea.
Does anyone else remember this? The only beverages I remember from TAGS are coffee, water, a bottle of pop, sweet cider, beer and moonshine. And that brings up another point. I've never heard anybody in the south say "bottle of pop."
