My wife and I had a wonderful time as the featured car and guests at a large car show in Northern Wisconsin. We were treated to two nights at a luxury inn with our meals paid. When they were awarding trophies they called my wife and me up and presented us with a beautiful Appreciation Plaque for bring the squad car and for interacting with everyone as The Mayberry Guru. On our trip home we stopped in a tourist town to have a bite to eat and when we walked in the door, not in uniform, someone yelled out, "Hey, that's the guy who gave me a ticket at a car show." So he had to explain to his friends how I had given him a ticket for having two much horsepower and too much engine chrome. Also, at the show, two young guys about 18 years old spend so much time around us. I let them sit in the car and operate the light and siren while they took turns making a video of it. They asked so many questions about TAGS and were so enthused. What a great experience that was. We are invited back next year as the resort's special guests again and we look forward to making a return trip.
