This is truly sorrowful news. We lost Goober just a couple of weeks ago, and now Doug Dillard. I was one of a privileged few who, through the generosity of our own Jim Clark and Allan Newsome, got to surprise Doug Dillard on his birthday, some years back (I think it was in the late 90's). We had a very pleasant and informative lunch there in Nasville, and the wonderful surprise on us with the appearance of George "Goober" Lindsey himself. Jim Clark gave us each this fabulous picture of the entire group including Doug and Goober, and it is hanging on my wall today. Thanks to Jim and Allan for that experience and to Doug and Goober for a lifetime of entertainment. Bobby the Beast
