Don Knotts PASSED ON The comedic actor spent many years on "The Andy Griffith Show" from 1960-1968. But it was his role as landlord Ralph Furley on "Three's Company" that he will be remembered for. He died on Feb. 24, 2006 from complications due to lung cancer. He was 81.
What was this person that wrote this thinking? When I think of Don Knotts, I automatically think of Barney! Who else agrees with me?<<< I believe what we have here is a failure to communicate. I would think the person that wrote the comment is in his mid thirties. Being that age he would have watched 3's Company in it's original airing so to him and folks his age perhaps he would remember him better as Ralph Furley. Personally I watched 3's company in it's original run and I still picture Barney Fife over Ralph Furley when thinking of Don. I actually see him do his karate moves on 3's company and I see Barney Fife taking his judo lessons again. That's just me and I'm always lost in A Mayberry State Of Mind well I guess that's about all, I thank you for your time, I preciate it.
