One of my favorite scenes from TAGS is when Andy is sitting on the front porch showing Mr. Tucker how to peel an apple without breaking the peeling. I am currently reading a mystery entitled "Miss Dimple Rallies to the Cause", and it is a gooooooooood mystery. One of the characters says that if you peel an apple without breaking the peeling you are to then throw the peeling over your left shoulder onto the ground. When the peeling hits the ground it is supposed to form the first letter of your sweetheart's name. I wonder if Andy and Mr. Tucker knew this. We never do see if they throw the peelings over their shoulders, do we, so guess we will never know.
