We are homeschoolers, and this week in my daughter's spelling lesson, the words
"kitchenette" and "croquette" appear. Well, it doesn't take much to create a
link to TAGS in my mind, so I explained the definition of "kitchenette" with
the example of the episode where Wally fires Gomer. Gomer describes to Andy
his little place in the back of the filling station, complete with a
kitchenette, as Wally calls it. Then the word "croquette" reminded me of the
Keevy Hazelton episode where Opie is trying to get Keevy to come to the house
for dinner. He tells Keevy that he doesn't want to eat at the diner because
the special is chicken croquettes, and they're terrible. It just proves that
TAGS is not only entertaining, it's educational, too!
