I knew the only antidote would be to visit Mayberry. So I went downstairs to our family room and I watched thirty minutes of TAGS and another thirty minutes of Leave it to Beaver. Just spending time in Mayberry and Mayfield brought my psyche back to within a normal range. What a great combination. I might just love "Leave It to Beaver" almost as much, I would say second place behind, "The Andy Griffith Show." I've been watching it on DVD and just the other day saw the one with Howard McNear playing Andy, the barber.
