It has been rather quiet on the Digest recently, so I thought I would pose a
question to see if it might generate some discussion. If you could be one
of the wonderful folks of Mayberry and live their life in Mayberry, who
would you like to be? As for me, I think I would like to be Floyd. As a
child I always loved going to the barber shop in our small town. I enjoyed
sitting around listening to the men talking about their work and their
hobbies. But most of all it was a time where the men in town could just go
and sit, talk, and grunt. I also seriously thought about becoming a barber,
but then decided I probably wouldn't be able to cut it. So come on folks,
share with us which character in Mayberry you would most want to be if you
had the opportunity?
