>>>Our local tv station shows TAGS
at 10 thru 11 pm every night 7 days a week. last night was
the Christmas episode. My favorite part is when Ben gives
Bee the sewing basket and Ellie and Mrs. Scobbie a gift and
they instantly turn and start singing Noel the Angels and
making him a plate and as Andy is taking him to put him
in a jail cell, they say Ben? and he turns around and is given
a plate and a cup of eggnog. just beautiful, just beautiful!!!<<<

Teresa, your post reminded me to tell you all to go to Weaver's Dept. Store at
www.mayberry.com<http://www.mayberry.com/> and check out the beautiful prints
by professional artist Dave Barnhouse. (Click on "Licensed & Limited Edition
Artwork" on the left.) He has a total of three available, and one of them is a
Christmas print (titled "A Mayberry Christmas") depicting the very scene you
described. Also check out "Mayberry, My Home Town." This is a beautifully
done street scene showing the downtown area at dusk -- the courthouse, Floyd's
barber shop, the drug store, Foley's Market, etc. And various TAGS characters
are along the street. It's very impressive! I am blessed to have both these
prints and just need to get the right frames for them so I can hang them on my
walls. Dave has also done a limited edition print to honor the 50th
anniversary of the show. If you were able to attend Mayberry Days, you
probably had the opportunity to see them in person. I know Dave was going to
be there. If, like me, you couldn't go to Mt. Airy this year, go to the
website and take a look at these prints. Any TAGS fan would love them. Also,
with Christmas coming up in just a few months, they would make great gifts.

Dave doesn't know I'm making this plug. I just appreciate his work.
