When Miss Crump was walking Karen home she told her to have her mother put
something on her sty. A sty is a pimple or abscess that forms in either
the upper or lower eyelid. The medical term for stye is hordeolum.
This month's Learn a Month Magazine was on "Strange and Unusual Conditions
of the Eye" and because I am a person who has had 12 eye surgeries I was
very interested.
