Speaking of dogs in Mayberry, let's not forget that when the show started, Opie
had a dog named Gulliver. He asked the Lord to bless his dog.
Orville Hendricks - Selling Butter and Eggs - Martha and I have a dog, but it
is not named Gulliver. She is named Elizabeth Lucille.
