You never hear Andy say to Helen " I can't go out tonight because I have to--go owling-- barbershop quarter practice-- band practice--Golden Door of ellowship." Andy and Emmet talk about Bowling in the fur coat episode. I think they claim to go bowling when Emmett is looking for Martha's fur coat. Also, in the Lydia episode they talk about bowling (can't, bad back), as in the episode where Helen's niece punches Opie. (Andy remarks that Helen only beat him becasue he didn't have his own shoes.) And doesn't Aunt Bee use a bowling bag to hide her wig once? And once, Andy couldn't go out with Helen because of the Peace Officers Bowling Tournament in Mt. Pilot. (Barney reminded him) I'll bet there are a couple more if we put our buckets on!!!!
