I was just reading Mayberry 101 because I hadn't picked it up in awhile and I
was surprised to find out that they had a stunt man for Mr. McBeeVee to do the
pole/tree climbing up and down--The untrained voice
They more than likely had a double driving the squad car in the chase with the
gold truck. Notice that the high speed chase is filmed from a distance. The
Gold truck nearly T-boned the squad before it stopped. because they were
shooting with one camera they could have stopped filming , switched drivers and
then started filming again showing Andy getting out
or there didn't necessarily have to be any body in the car when the truck
stopped.
Also did you know that Otis actually injured his back when he did that trick of
trying to leap onto the wall in 'The Loaded Goat' ep.
