Ok folks let's not get bogged down on this subject. it's been on the digest for
two days now. Some think Rafe might have said the 'H' word some think he didn't.
myself, I don't believe he did. I think he was making a quick response and he
might have started to say 'Hey' that's me' and just as quickly went to 'Well,
that's me'
causing the confusion we now are trying to figure out. Personally I agree with
Janet that he didn't say the 'H' word and somebody else said they couldn't get
by using
that language in the 60's and I agree with that too. Women didn't get pregnant
then, they were going to have a baby but they couldn't use the 'P' word.
Now consider this. TAGS was a highly rated family show It was the early 60's
when the seven taboo words still were in force. I'm sure the editors of TAGS
would not let somrething like that happen and I'm sure it didn't. I've listened
to it over and over and I think my explanation of mixing 'Hey' with 'Well'
could be
what happened. I just celebrated my 65th birthday and I don't even use that
word around my grown children. So that's my opinion.
