I would like to share my kudos to Alan for the great job he is doing with
his Ipod broadcasts. It is amazing how much information
he can share in those 15 minute segments. I especially enjoyed his recent
one about Myer's Lake.
Keep up the great work Alan and if you folks haven't listened to the
broadcasts I certainly
encourage you to do so.
I also would like to share a wonderful series of books that I recently
discovered. They are written by Jan Karon and feature the make believe
small town of Mitford, North Carolina. There are seven books in the series.
They are just delightful and are about as close to Mayberry
as anything I have found. Check them out if you enjoy Christian reading. I
would suggest starting with her first book, At Home in Mitford.
