Well folks I did my first PowerPoint 45 minute Mayberry presentation at a
neighboring church and it went off with only one little glitch. I couldn't
get the volume very loud on my clip of Barney reciting the preamble to the
constitution. I am wondering if it would help if I used thicker wires next
time. But those electonal marvels are something else. Seniors there
enjoyed it very much. We started out with a big pot luck. Tush now, there
are potlucks and there are potlucks. First comment someone had was about TV
Land not showing TAGS like they used too. Several people there also had
been to Mt. Airy. So all in all it was a very good afternoon. Sold a
number of books, although money was not my primary objective. I always give
a big discount at churches. It was a great time. I have four more
presentations scheduled down the road.

Also exciting news here in Eau Claire. Last night on our local news there
was a story about how Wyatt Earp's fifth cousin is attending college here.
I just hope she isn't being strung along by someone. They interviewed her
on the news last night and I think she has a closer resemblance to Jack
Dempsey. She wasn't even wearing a gun or cowboy hat and she came into town
in a SUV and not a horse.
