You may see in today's Digest a Message from Tom Kssl ( Kessell I think) I befriended Tom almost by accident a few weeks back and I'd like to help this group understand and know Tom a little better.
In this medium, he is hard to read sometimes-figuratively and literally. Up until this week, he sent all his message on a tiny little Cell phone (Blackberry) keyboard. So his spacing capitalization and punctuation is off (I know..what's my excuse?) He also get's disappointed kinda easy, (if I can say that Tom, you know me as a friend). He gets disappointed when he puts something out there that is fact, is based on his unique information, and it gets drowned out by some other topic (some very insignificant) ...Because the other topic is easier to answer..or something everyone has an idea or opinion on. It takes him a lot of effort to get something typed in..and like all of us, he likes to be read and appreciated, and asked questions. He really seems to have some very rare an unique information because he talked to several of the stars personally. I know I'd like to know more about them, and I look forward to him sharing more. He reminds me of Jud, and his soft voice. Ole Tom (Jud) is standing on the streets of Mayberry telling stories about the past that are very interesting..but he is not being heard because. Barney is yelling at a Jaywalker, and everyone is watching and laughing at that or something. Now I know we're going to hear a lot of Mayberry days this week..and I want to hear about that very much..but also I want to hear from Tom, either now, or when things settle down. This goes for anyone really that has spoken up, put some effort in, and not been heard much. Like Andy says "If there is a Tooth Doctor in town, he ought to have a tooth-ache every once in a while to take care of. Well we have a historian, right here on the bench outside the courthouse, let's take advantage of his notes and knowledge and see what he has to say.
