As I was watching the first season of the Superman series with George Reeves, imagine my surprise when I saw the town of Mayberry being used as a set! I assume it was the 40 acres backlot. I also spotted Mayor Pike in one of the episodes. It sure was fun to join the ranks of "trained noticers"!
