Github user wisebaldone commented on the issue: https://github.com/apache/incubator-wave/pull/22 We could but I was under the impression that we were already using the google java style standard. I could also write a gradle task to do a very similar process of downloading the file then running it manually with selecting the inbuilt google_style.xml but it would be a lot more messier. Specifically when in the long run the tool can incorporate publishing the website ( whats coming next ), signing the distributions, running rat and other repetitive tasks. I think this method is cleaner than building up the gradle file to be some complex beast. If we want to roll our own style then ild be fine to just use the gradle plugin but I was preparing this for more. I dont see the relevance of the jacoco plugin, its just running our test reports isnt it?
