I'm working on a mobile android wave client, only with a different
goal (geolocating information and sharing it rather then a "normal"
text client). So different GUI, but same comms needed. I had a working
connection way back with FedOne but since then things have changed and
I've been struggling to connect or interact with WiaB.
I've been told theres a "simplified client server protocal" on the
cards at some point that should make this stuff easier but I am not
sure when thats coming or what priority it has.

Also, yes, mobile clients need to be designed with both lag and even
offline access (cacheing/sycning) in mind.
