The issue is resolved with the below configuration: #From which interface the multicast packets can be accepted vppctl ip mroute add 224.0.0.0/24 ( http://224.0.0.0/24 ) via gre0 Accept vppctl ip mroute add 224.0.0.0/24 ( http://224.0.0.0/24 ) via gre1 Accept
#Once accepted, specify the forward path vppctl ip mroute add 224.0.0.0/24 ( http://224.0.0.0/24 ) via local Forward
