Hi All, one observation in relation to session management in acl-plugin and other plugins is, each plugin/node are maintaining different session database which has mostly redundant entries and is memory intensive. as for session management 5tuple is common .. it would be good if vpp provide a common infra/db for all nodes to refer to sessions and hook node specific meta data and use instead of creating session database per plugin
like acl-plugin , nat has their own session management dbs , if a new plugin has to be introduced where session management is needed , we have to create a new db which is redundant .
