Please run vpp in debug mode and share the backtrace if you still hit with the problem. VPP crashes when trying to verify this assert: /vpp/src/vlib/trace_funcs.h:63 (vlib_add_trace_inline) assertion `vnet_trace_placeholder' fails When I use the host interface (not tap), there's no crash.
