Hi, I am trying to enable syslog in VPP and would require your help to make it work.
Here is the collector config: *vpp# show syslog sender* *collector 10.10.224.42:514 <http://10.10.224.42:514>, src address 1.1.1.1, VRF ID 0, max-msg-size 480* *vpp#* With this configuration, the logs in /var/log/vpp/vpp.log (vpp.conf) file is to be seen in the remote server. 1. Is this expectation correct? If so, could you please let me know what I could be missing to be able to see the syslog messages in the syslog collector? 2. Secondly, there is "show log" that has logs completely different from /var/log/vpp/vpp.config. What is the purpose of this and where could this be picking its logs from? Thanks, Uma
