Hi Pratikshya, First thanks a lot for diving into VPP's documentation, and contributing to it !
To give you a some context, the VPP documentation has been undergoing some changes recently, the objective being to move the 'version dependent content' to the VPP repository itself (in ./docs) and remove stale documentation from the stale sources. The produced output lives here [0]. So we should probably move some of the content to the repository docs (as for [1]) and remove outdated content. Specifically to your question, imho the page you're referring to can definitely be removed.
