Hi everyone,

I am new to VPP so I apologize if I'm not in the right group to post this topic.

I am interested in the "udp encap" command but I see no documentation about it.
Anyone could explain me how we use it and how it is suposed to work ?

Currently I have the following network architecture :

*[Linux machine]* (192.168.11.1/24) <===========> (192.168.11.2/24) *[VPP
machine with DPDK enabled]*

I added an "udp-encap" entry  :

vpp# show udp encap 0
udp-encap:[0]: ip-fib-index:0 ip:[src:192.168.11.2, dst:192.168.11.1]
udp:[src:23001, dst:23000] to:[0:0]] locks:1
Stacked on:
[@0]: dpo-load-balance: [proto:ip4 index:13 buckets:1 uRPF:12 to:[25:2400]
via:[21:1884]]
[0] [@5]: ipv4 via 192.168.11.1 GigabitEthernet0/4/0: mtu:9000 next:3 flags:[]
fa163efcca8bfa163ed0c2080800

How can I encapsulate traffic accorfing to this udp-encap entry ?

Thanks in advance !

David
