Hi all, the VPP 21.06 release is approaching, and you will notice this time around we will not have the API freeze, but rather the RC1 directly. The past release has shown that the current change process for the production APIs gives good guarantees, and locking down the in-progress APIs does not make much sense. Thus, as agreed on the community calls, no explicit F0 milestone this time.
This means on the 26th of May as per the release plan [0] I will pull the stable/2106 branch and publish the first artifacts. This also means that in preparation to the release, we should pay some more attention to the coverity issues. I would request the maintainers to have a look at the current issues at [1] and either resolve issues or mark them as false positives as they are. Unfortunately there is no way to hyperlink them directly, the best I could find is to login to the coverity UI at [2] and paste the defect IDs into the search box.
