Folks,
Sorry for the late notice, but jenkins.fd.io is continuing to experience
slow-downs today. Earlier today jenkins because unresponsive and was
restarted.
Efforts to identify/resolve the issue include LF-IT removing unnecessary
jenkins plugins, upgrading Jenkins & java, adjusting configuration
settings to increase the number of threads for java and adding
additional monitoring plugins.
The current theory is that the Robot Framework plugin is consuming
excessive cpu & memory and as agreed upon in today's weekly CSIT
Community meeting, will be disabled temporarily to help determine if it
is the source of the problem.
Jenkins is in shutdown mode now and will be restarted shortly after the
LF-IT folks have gathered more information.
Thank you for your patience as the LF-IT team works to identify and fix
the root cause of these outages.
