It is considered stable and we are supporting it 😊

Re RX, did you sent packets to the VPP interface MAC? The interfaces are not in 
promiscuous mode by default, and VPP does not use the default interface MAC by 
default to not "steel" it from Linux, it behaves a bit like a VF.

It should work, jumbo support was added in the last months. Or do you refer to
