Thanks Ben Yes indeed it was promiscuous mode, I thought it was the default for some reason.
Though the small percentage being passed on threw me off, don't think my tg generates any broadcasts, thats a mystery for another day.. btw do you know how VPP determines the TX queue per worker thread? is it 1-to-1 mapping? what if the NIC doesn't support as many tx queues as available worker threads?
