Hi Benoit, Thank you for your response.
I have tried with GCC (gcc version 7.3.1 20180303 (Red Hat 7.3.1-5) (GCC)) , but still facing the compilation error. Another issue I am facing while bringing up debug sanitized build in api #5 0x00002aaaabca8a33 in VL_MSG_API_POISON (a=0x2aaab988ed90) at vpp_1908/src/vlibapi/api_common.h:162 #6 0x00002aaaabcad50a in vl_msg_api_send_shmem (q=0x200000048480, elem=0x2aaab988ed90 "\b\311\032") at vpp_1908/src/vlibmemory/memory_shared.c:793 #7 0x00002aaaabce79e3 in send_one_plugin_msg_ids_msg (name=0x2aaaba711080 "abf_56330065", first_msg_id=844, last_msg_id=853) at vpp_1908/src/vlibmemory/vlib_api.c:203 #8 0x00002aaaabce80a3 in vl_api_clnt_process (vm=0x2aaaaee337c0 <vlib_global_main>, node=0x2aaab9886000, f=0x0) at vpp_1908/src/vlibmemory/vlib_api.c:299 Thanks, Chetan Bhasin On Wed, Jan 8, 2020 at 2:42 PM Benoit Ganne (bganne) <bga...@cisco.com> wrote: > >>> While working with Address sanitizer I am facing compilation > >>> error in vpp > >> Can you share on which sha1 you are, which distro and which > >> compiler and compiler version? > > gcc version 4.8.5 20150623 (Red Hat 4.8.5-11) (GCC) > > Outch... Your problem is right there: gcc-4 is too old.
