Hi vpp-dev, I'm wondering if it is OK to collect the buffers I wish to drop together in my node and free them at the end vs sending them to a drop node. I am tracking the drops in my nodes error counter so I have a way to track them, but given there is real processing overhead to actually send them on to another specific drop node for processing I'm wondering if I'm missing something important here by not sending doing that.
