Hi,

You just need to give the interface an IPv4 and IPv6 address.

DBGvpp# loop cre
DBGvpp# ip table 1
DBGvpp# set int ip table loop0 1
DBGvpp# set int state loop0 up
DBGvpp# set int ip address loop0 10.10.10.10/24
DBGvpp# set int ip address loop0 2001::10/64

The creation of the IP table 1 is optional, it would work in the ‘default’ 
table too.
