Does your patch have a way to set per protocol MTU(ip4/ip6/mpls) on s/w
interface? We are looking for a way to set per protocol MTU and
currently we couldn't find any option for this.

I have a patch in the work that let's you set MTU on software interfaces. 
Should be there within a few days.
