Below list the new features introduced to NSH_SFC 17.04. • NSH-aware VNFs by collocating NSH Proxy and SF (such as VPP’s SNAT plugin) • Initial MD Type 2 support • iOAM in NSH • NSH_SFC automation functional test integration with CSIT
So together with available features (such as SFF, Classifier and NSH Proxy) in previous release, the NSH_SFC plugin sub-project supports all types of high performance data plane ingredients of a NSH-based SFC solution. In addition, VPP + NSH_SFC is fully integrated with OpenDaylight SFC project (in Carbon release) via the Honeycomb agent as well as ODL’s NETCONF SB plugin.
