Dave, We're seeing intermittent errors related to plugins. We still have the JClouds plugin installed even though we are using OpenStack. The JClouds plugin isn't installed on the sandbox so I think it's a low risk change to remove the JClouds plugin in production. After I remove the plugin I'll closely monitor the builds. I've put Jenkins in shutdown and will be sending a notification to the lists shortly.
